About Us

Spread the love

The National Health Association (NHS) was founded by Jeremy Tubbs, an experienced instructor working alongside the American Heart Association. Our mission is to serve as a strong advocate in the fight against heart disease and to promote heart health through education, awareness, and proactive care.

At NHS, we are committed to empowering individuals and communities with the knowledge and resources needed to prevent and manage heart-related conditions. Through training programs, health initiatives, and partnerships with leading medical organizations, we strive to make a lasting impact in the fight against cardiovascular disease.

Our goal is simple: to be a helpful force in heart health, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to lead a healthier, longer life.

At NHS, we believe that prevention, preparedness, and knowledge are the keys to reducing heart-related illnesses and saving lives. Our organization focuses on:

  • CPR & BLS Training: We offer CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification courses to equip individuals, healthcare professionals, and first responders with lifesaving skills. Quick and effective CPR can double or even triple survival rates in cardiac emergencies, making it an essential skill for everyone.

  • Heart Health Advocacy: We work to raise awareness about cardiovascular diseases, risk factors, and lifestyle changes that can lead to better heart health. Our initiatives focus on healthy living, nutrition, exercise, and stress management to prevent heart-related conditions.

  • Advancing Science for Stronger Hearts: We collaborate with medical experts, researchers, and health organizations to explore new technologies, treatments, and scientific advancements aimed at improving heart health and increasing survival rates in cardiac emergencies.

Our mission is to find new ways to protect hearts, save lives, and create a healthier future. By educating and empowering individuals, we strive to reduce the impact of heart disease and sudden cardiac arrest in our communities.

Join us in our mission—because every second counts, and every heartbeat matters.

Our Commitment to Heart Health

At NHS, we believe that prevention, preparedness, and knowledge are key in reducing heart-related illnesses and saving lives. Through a combination of training, advocacy, and cutting-edge science, we are dedicated to making heart health more accessible and effective for everyone.

Life-Saving Training Programs

  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation): We provide CPR certification courses for individuals, healthcare professionals, businesses, and first responders, ensuring that more people are equipped with the skills to respond to cardiac emergencies.

  • BLS (Basic Life Support): Our Basic Life Support training is designed for medical personnel and emergency responders, teaching high-quality chest compressions, AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use, and effective team-based resuscitation techniques.

  • First Aid & Emergency Response: We offer comprehensive first aid courses covering a wide range of medical emergencies, including heart attacks, strokes, and choking incidents.

Advocacy & Education for Heart Disease Prevention

Heart disease is the leading cause of death worldwide, yet many cases are preventable through proper education and lifestyle changes. NHS is committed to raising awareness about the importance of diet, exercise, stress management, and regular check-ups to maintain a healthy heart.

We provide educational programs, workshops, and online resources to help individuals take proactive steps in their heart health journey. Our initiatives focus on:

  • Promoting heart-healthy diets rich in nutrients that support cardiovascular function.

  • Encouraging physical activity to strengthen the heart and improve circulation.

  • Highlighting the dangers of high blood pressure, smoking, and obesity as risk factors for heart disease.

Advancing Science & Innovation for Heart Health

NHS actively seeks new advancements in cardiovascular science to develop better treatments, technologies, and preventive measures. Our research efforts focus on:

  • Improving CPR effectiveness through better techniques and technologies.

  • Exploring wearable heart-monitoring devices to detect early warning signs of heart disease.

  • Supporting scientific research on new medications and lifestyle interventions for long-term heart health.

A Community Built on Heart Health

We believe that strong communities save lives. NHS works with hospitals, schools, businesses, and local organizations to create a culture of heart health awareness and emergency preparedness. Our outreach programs include:

  • Free community CPR training events to increase public knowledge.

  • Partnerships with schools and youth programs to educate the next generation on heart safety.

  • Support for patients and families affected by heart disease, providing them with resources and encouragement.

Join Us in the Fight Against Heart Disease
